That 425 HCCA s a bad azz amp. In this case, it would be well suited to run the subs. Four 4 ohm subs won't even make it break a sweat. If you bridged it, you would run an easy 100 watts to each channel... 200 to two 4 ohm SVC subs no problem. Run four 4 ohm DVC subs to pull 800 watts out of that amp to curl your hair.
The HCCA amps were kinda special in that the owner/designer of the system went low impedance on the system design. You might be 'rated' at a slight 25 WPC, but you could pull much more than that overall. I saw guys run passive crossovers to power the entire vehicle with just one 225 HCCA. "Rated" at just 50 watts total, the systems hit much harder than that.
I'm itching to run two 250 HCCAs as my main mid amps (bridged) at 200 WPC @ 4 ohms, another at 50 WPC to the horns/tweeters, and 400 watts to the sub. Four amps, tons of fun.
