The biggest Auto and Entertainment Event of this summer will take place at Bikernieki on August 1
The biggest Auto and Entertainment Event of the year will take place at the Bikernieki Sports Centre on August 1. Within its framework there will be both Latvian Drag Racing Championship and the third stage of the “DrinkMe Cup 2009”, as well as for the first time attendants will be able to enjoy a unique open-air show – Exhibition of Latvian Auto Clubs and Tuned Autos. During the whole day there will be a comprehensive entertainment program for attendants, as well as a special play area for children.
The strongest Latvian drag racing drivers have already prepared their cars for the start to compete for the championship and “DrinkMe Cup” total rating points. Additional excitement is promised by the Lithuanian and Estonian sportsmen who this time will be in especially great number. It is interesting that along with drivers of modern and very powerful cars several “Oldschool Society” drivers have already announced their participation within the drag racing handicap class. On-line registration of participants for the competition will begin on July 13 on the Internet site
www.forsaza.lv, where the fans of the drivers duly will be able to find out all news on sportsmen, and the participants will be able to acquaint themselves with the competition regulations and agenda.
Along with the drag racing competition attendants will be able to watch a spectacular Exhibition of Auto Clubs and Tuned Autos. The biggest Latvian Auto Clubs - BMW Club Latvia, JapCar, Celica Club, Prelude Club, Mercedes Club, MotoPower.lv, Latvian Supra Club, Burnout.lv, association “VPZDU Tuning”, and VW Motion - have already confirmed their participation. Attendants will be able to view also sports cars in the special stands of the “Latvian Drift Series” and “BaTCC National Class”.
All who arrive at the event until 6.00 p.m. will be able to vote on both the most beautiful exhibition car and on the most attractive stand. The winners of the exhibition will be announced and awarded in conclusion of the event at 9.00 p.m.
There are several surprises prepared for the participants of the competition and attendants – there will be an opportunity to watch the photo session of the Forsāža.lv models which will be organized by photograph Svens Klave within the on-line mode right there at the stadium, as well as to watch practice of Streetbike Freestyle, and even to try “Skyline Drift Taxi” together with Kristens, the most handsome drifter. Besides, motto fans will have an excellent opportunity to acquaint themselves with aerography art in a special Harley Davidson motorbike stand. The “VIP Pitstop” from the “PostClub Jelgava” will refresh attendants, as well as deejays from the “Eiropean Hit Radio” will perform on the roof of the “Black Silver Party Bus”.
Especially we have thought also of our new generation – while their parents are watching the Drag Racing Competition and Auto Exhibition, little ones are welcome to a special children play area made by the “DāvanuServiss.lv” – there you will find inflatable amusements, trampolines, segway, go-karts and sweets degustation.
The price of the ticket until July 20 is only LVL 5. For children under six the entrance is free of charge, ticket’s price for 7 to 12 years old children is LVL 3. After July 20 the price of the ticket for adults will be LVL 6, but during the day of the event -- LVL 7. Tickets are available at all the “Ticket Service” sales places, as well as at the DUS Statoil throughout Latvia. People are welcome to attend the Auto Exhibition already from 1.00 p.m., and the final heat of drag racing will begin at 4.00 p.m.
