The Russian Woodbecker selle nimeks otsige wikipediast konkreetne antenn on jah Tšernobõlis, ise oma silmaga näinud ning reaalsuses tundub ta veel suurem. Muidu peaks neid endisel NSVL territooriumil olema 3-4 veel |

 Kogu kaadervärki vedanud veokas on pildil paremal all nurgas. The Merredin event was to be an all or nothing attempt. One rigid truck coupled to 45 trailers measuring 610 meters in length, weighing in at 603 tonne and travelling 8 kilometers. These companies- Transplus, Will Ryan, Mukinbudin Transport, Peter Capito, Tod Thyne, Wesfarmers, Sands Fridge Lines and Great Western Petroleum, made up the bulk of the 35 Semi Trailers, 4 stock crates, 2 Freezers, 2 Taut Liner, 1 Flat Top and 1 Tanker, with additional dollies supplied by Phil Fisher, S & L Lambert, James Geier and Ross Della Bosca. The 45 trailers were coupled in two hours, stretching out from the west side of town. "Millipede" a Kenworth K100G 10 x 6, rigid truck has twin steer, with a Rockwell RZ75-166GP Meritor Tri Drive rearend suspended by Hendrickson WD3-600 Airbags and is powered by a Cummins Signature 565 HP Diesel Engine through an Eaton Fuller RTL018718B Transmission. With 25 tonne of gravel on board, it was coupled to the trailers. Merredin MLA, Hendy Cowan, opened proceedings before transport minister, Murray Criddle, waved the big rig away. The expectant crowd cheered as the rear tyres strained and the rest of the 986 wheels suspended on 245 axles edged away in unison, almost effortlessly. Once rolling Greg shifted into third gear and averaging 12 km/hr. Hundreds of people lined the road cheering as the big rig rolled passed, with a large crowd awaiting them on the outskirts of Nangeenan. |
