See pole veel kindel, kuna elus pole miski kindel kuid üks meie mees teeb kõik selleks, et see aasta seal rajal olla. Autoga käivad ettevalmistused kuid kõik taandub sinna, et kas suudab ennast õigel hetkel ära ka regada (Eelmine aasta said kohad täis 6 minutiga) ning siis on veel jupp maad mille jooksul võib kõike juhtuda. AGA ikkagi kui kõik sujub, siis meil on Eesti lipp rajal esmakordselt !

Samuti üritavad kindlalt tagasi minna Soomlased VIP'iga kuna kehva etteaste oli neil kokkuvõttes see aasta ning Rootslased hakkasid asconat ka ringi ehitama. Tuleb biturbo ilmselt.
Kuna nitromootor on sisuliselt nagu vabalthingav mootor ja vabalthingava mootori jõud = sitaks raha ja palju skilli ja häid juppe + kogu seda kompotti koos hoida lisaks rajale veel 1300 miili tänavatel on ikka meeletu värk. Igasuguse turbo ja kompreka majandusega on see asi sellevõrra lihtsam, et tänavajaoks saab kõik nii maha keerata kui võimalik.

Olen juba 2 aastat käinud Usas vaatamas Dragweeki ja nüüd olen saanud asjad nii kaugele, et 2018 aasta läheme Ford Taunusega.
2 viimast aastat on kahjuks see auto pidanud ootama enda aega garaazis, kuna oleme Ford Mustangiga käinud kiirendusradadel uusi rekordeid sõitmas.
Hetkel aga käib Taunuse täishooldus ja tänavakõlbulikuks ehitamine käsil. Suured tänud US-PARTS Balti OÜ ja Autoracing kes aitavad meid varuosadega ja GULF õlidega.
Hakkame siia vaikselt uut infot ülesse panema ja teid asjadega kursis hoidma.
Hetkel auto saab kõik mis vajalik, et osaleda tänavaliikluses. Samuti kärukonks, et saaks dragweekil asju kaasas vedada, mis vajalik.
Auto testimine siin kevadel ja hiljemalt juulis saadame konteineriga Floridasse. Nädalane üritus ise saab toimuma 2018 aasta septembri alguses.

News for our international followers!
We had the new Norrlands Asconan 2.0 in our both at Elmia this weekend. It was the first time we showed the new car we are building. It's a 6.0 chassi, Proline 540 BBC with twin 88's, turbo glide, floater axel, all wraped in a Opel Ascona steel body that has been heavily worked on! The build started in december last year and is about 60% done, so it's still alot of work left.
We also released our plans for 2018, witch is to send both cars to the US and compete in Hotrod Drag Week 2018. Magnus and Dennis will drive the new twin turbo Ascona and Robin and Jesper will drive the OG Ascona.
We will keep you posted as work continues!

Time for a small update. The car is still in pieces around the world but the there is still one month until the season begins.

The rearend of the car has been reinforced to better being able to take Uskalihandling course. Pics below.

The transmission has been repaired, band went south again most likely because of the wrong fluid. Thanks TH-matic for parts and tightening the converter.

Engine parts have about been gathered together now, the block was honed and the turbos are still at Professional Motor being updated. Just put it all together...

The seson begins at Oulu American Car Show, and a week after that is the first test & tune day and first Finnish Championship race. Hoping for new records there!
